Who should apply – Paleo Book/eBook of the year
You are the author of a published book or ebook, for sale in bookshops and/or online retailers such as Amazon.
The book relates to any aspect of living a Paleo (or predominantly) lifestyle.
You reside in the UK.
Eligibility Criteria – Paleo Book/eBook of the year
eBooks must be published and offered for sale online. Entries must cite a URL where the book is listed, be that your website, Amazon or other online retailer.
Books must be published and offered for sale in shops and/or online.
The author must be resident in the UK for these Award purposes.
Any recipes within the book or ebook must not contain any ingredients in the ‘What is not Paleo’ section of our Ultimate UK Paleo Guide (entries will still be accepted if the minority of recipes contain non-Paleo ingredients and it is clearly explained that they are not).
Please refer to the Ultimate UK Paleo Guide for a full list of what ingredients are, and are not, Paleo for the purposes of the UK Paleo Awards.

If you have multiple books or ebooks, you may submit more than one in this category (up to a maximum of 5 entries, across all categories).
Entrants will be expected to provide sufficient a full copy of their book or ebook for judging (as sold). They may also need to complete further questions as to how ‘Paleo’ their book or ebook is.
Details will be provided at the end of June and you will have 1 month to get the book or ebook and any other information to us.
How is the award decided? – Paleo Book/eBook of the year
Once entries close on 31st May, a high-level check will be carried out by the judging panel to ensure all entries are valid. The judges’ decision is final and they will be unable to enter into correspondence on the matter.
Where over 7 entrants are received in a category, they will be reduced down to 7 finalists. The judges’ decision is final and they will be unable to enter into correspondence on the matter. No refund is possible if your product or business does not make the final 7.
This category is based on a combination of public votes (collated on this website) and the judging panel. Please read The Awards Process page for details of the judging and voting process.
A winner and runner-up will be announced for this category.
